Baxter & Cicero marine canvas products are well known by Newport Beach boaters and sailors. Marine canvas products in Sunbrella or acrilan are durable, water–resistant, and retain their color for years. Lower on this page you will find listed many marine canvas products for sailors. We also make marine canvas products for business and homes.
Custom marine canvas covers are a staple of our business. Our workmanship and materials complement your boat and protect it from the elements. Our clients include individuals, yacht captains, businesses, boat builders, clubs, charter fleets, and sailing teams.
Sunbrella Color Options
When ordering a new boat cover, we encourage you to review the available colors of Sunbrella to help you decide what will work best for your application.
Other Material Options
Highest Water Resistance Fabrics
In addition to acrylic fabrics, we also work with vinyl coated fabrics. Stamoid performs well, for instance, in applications where extreme water or mildew resistance is required. Stamoid, while easier to clean than woven fabrics, is available in fewer colors than Sunbrella.
Sunshades / Privacy Curtains
Sunshades provide boaters with shade and improved daytime privacy; these are generally made of mesh fabric. Popular applications include dodger side curtains and window covers. These fabrics are available in a variety of colors and weave densities which block various percentages of sunlight. Phifer offers several fabrics such as Phifertex, Suntex, and SheerWeave while Twitchell offers its ShadeView and Textilene brand synthetic fabrics. Mesh side curtains can be added to dodger extensions, bimini tops, windows, and boat awnings.
Window Options
Several options are available for windows in boat enclosures. In recent years, new materials such as Strataglass are delivering better scratch and yellowing resistance than the materials popular fifteen years ago.

Enhance Marine Canvas with Custom Embroidery
Custom embroidery makes our products unmistakably yours. We are frequently asked to personalize boat covers and board bags by embroidering name and sail number on them. This helps prevent other sailors from mistaking your things for theirs. This often pays for itself the first time a sailor travels to a regatta away from home, and at home, too.
